    Thumbs up

    Here's what I used on my 2002 Z71.

SCROLL TO BOTTOM OF PAGE...FULL LEVELING KIT is what you want...$189.

1999-2006 Chevy Leveling Suspension Lift Kit

You get the leveling keys, 1.25" thicker rear blocks, u-bolts, and four new shocks to match.

For $189 you cannot beat it.

Still rides very close to stock.

What are the blocks for? I though the keys were all you needed to level the suspension?

Its a combined lift/level kit. It lifts it around 2" in the front and 1" in the rear. Still has a little rake, but its not very noticeable.

Mine really doesn't have a rake anymore...

    With 285/75/16's on stock wheels:

    On 33 x 12.50 x 16.5 BFG's on 16.5 x 9.75" Weld Scorpion wheels w/factory fender flares (wheels/tires since changed, flares gone):

Have you measured to the fenders? It doesn't appear to have a rake, but it may have a 1" rake. I know perfectly level trucks appear to have the cali lean to them, not sure why but they do.

Do those rough country shocks last, and perform well? I'm thinking the bilstien 5100 shocks are the ones I want to get.

Yes, I have measured. Since front tires obviously sit slightly lower due to engine/trans. weight, you can't measure from ground. The most accurate measurement was at dead center and BOTTOM lip of wheel up to the center of fenderwell. Mine measure 32.5" front and rear. When I put the kit on, I used the measurement from the rear (since it's unchangeable), and set my keys to match the height measurement of the front to the rear. If anything, mine is ever so slightly higher in front, but I think that is optical illusion, lol.

I've had them about 1.5 years, if I remember right? (No idea of mileage but figure 300 a week average times about 75 or so weeks)
I'm pleased with how it rides. Damn near as smooth as stock, yet decent in rougher terrain...

FWIW, I am DEFINITELY NOT an avid "off road" trucker by no means...but truck is driven hard in the environment it's in everyday, which is a rutty, pot hole infested steel mill...I have zero complaints. For $200 or so, shipped, it's very hard to beat this setup on a mild setup like I wanted.
