wiper cowl? 03 on an 02?

looking to purchase a shadow wiper cowl for my 02 sierra, searched everywhere now and cannot seem to find one for an 02, even called lund directly and they dont even show one... the guy i talked to at summit seems to think the one that fits 03 and up will fit. anybody ever tried?

There is nothing different about the wiper cowl 99-02 vs 03+.

yeah because they have one for 98-00 and then they have a diff part number for 03+ so i guess i should just go with the 03+ and give it a shot??

Unless there is something specific about the aftermarket one that fits to the hood or something, but even then I don't see how it could be different.

ordered it up thru my local lund dealer (so that it can easily be returned if doesnt work) and i guess we'll see when it gets here in a couple days, i'll keep u posted and if it works than i guess i'll post up a couple pics

yup, it worked, i havent gotten any pics yet but itlooks good, except there are a couple of waves in it just from bein in the box i hope? the drivers wiper arm does scrape at the pivot point but that's it and i guess some adjustments will be needed but for now im gonna take it off because ive heard they suck with snow and stuff in the winter so i guess ill remove it and reinstall it in the springtime as its only like 5 or 6 screws to remove it... ill take and post up some pics before i take it off tho!
