03 taillights

Just picked up a set for .FREE! no harnesses though. Tried to install one last night and seemed to have a slight problem..

1. The bulb sockets dont seem to fit right. Do I need to midify something to get em in there?

2. Theres an extra hole in the light. Where do I need to modify my existing harness to add that bulb???

that extra hole is for a light u dont have it comes on the03 and up what i did was left that hole there and i used my existing harness but to make the light clips fit i had to shave away some of the inside of the hole just to make the clips fit. u can do this with a sharp knife. be careful! hope i was some help

Yeah. I shaved the inside of the sockets to make the bulbs fit, I've had them in for, like 2 months at least now w/ no problems. I still wish I could find a way to wire that extra bulb in somehow.
