    My Dad's truck

been in the family since 1992. it was my grandpas first NEW truck and it was left behind when he died. it became me and my dads little project a few years back. you just dont see them this clean anymore. new paint (slick), body work done, new lights all around, new door handles, new mirrors, new molding, etc etc frame off restored. 350. we rebuilt it to STOCK with some drop shackles to level things out.

its probably pretty boring to most of yall but i grabbed some pictures of it tonight and though i would share. hard to believe that its 18 years old. i wish i got some pictures in the sunlight. that red paint POPS. its like looking into a red mirror.

when we were re-doing this truck and we had all of the windows and ALL interior gutted i tried like hell to convince him to change the interior color...he wouldnt go for it. i think the red is horrid.

i also couldnt talk him into updating the grille shell to the newer model. he wanted it all original.

the truck was originally red and silver in the middle.

I like the red inside...should still be offered with red, black, or white exterior.

I'd love to have something like that, my brother thought he bought one - but the body work was half assed so what was a very nice truck turned into a POS in 6 months.
