    Question Timing Advance??

What timing am I looking for at freeway cruising speed? Mine shows over 30 while cruising, and drops to under 20 degrees if I hammer it. Isn't that backwards?

While we're at it, what 02 sensor numbers are proper? I think mine are OK, but I'm curious. I wish they had a chart repository to look through.

    LS6 engine, 212/218 558/563, truck accessories, stock manifolds w/ a 40 series, 373, HP Tuner Basic

I'm showing over 40 kPa at idle and 90 at 50% throttle

post a scan and your tune that would be a little more helpful.
    Step 1. crus at it.
    Step 2. get a hammer.
    Step 3. torch it.

OK I'll figure out how to do that. I had a chart but it disappeared.

The last tune I wrote changed the MAP so much that it has to be done again to focus in on the 50% and higher TPS. I'll probably tweak it and see if I can bump it up some, then try to do a histogram or whatnot.

It says my .hpt file is invalid. My config disappeared again (it's still there but I pull it up and theres nothing on the chart)

How do you get a .hpt file to upload?

    Uhhh, Me

I've got several LS6 tunes from stock to mild built and am comparing the tables to mine. I think the last time I changed the main spark I must not have saved it so now I changed it all back and I'll write it. Also going to get rid of TM, I think that's a big issue with retard

Have you tried posting on the HPT forums?
Depending on tranny mods, I would leave about 10% TM.

Yeah, don't get much response over there. Besides, I like you guys better

OK I wrote another tune. WOT runs about 24 degrees, unless KR moves it down 3 or 4. At 45 mph cruise I'm seeing 15% TPS, and 37* advance at 1900 RPM. Looks like it's averaging 550 on the o2 sensors. Isn't that too much advance?
