    Tire Size Question? 265 to 285

    Hello everybody,

    I,m not sure if this is the right part of the forum for this but I'll give it a shot. I have a 2004 K1500 Z71 that came with 265/75-R16 stock. Will 285/70-R16 fit with stock suspension? I can raise the front with the T bars and put 3" blocks in the back instead of the 2" that came stock. I want to get the truck up a little and put as big of a tire in as possible without doing a lift.

    I've got 285/75/16's on my truck. Stock front and removed block in the rear. They fit perfectly.

    I have had 285 on my 2000, 2005 and now my 2007 all on stock trucks. With and with out aftermarket wheels.
    07 GMC ccsb 1500 4x4, front replacment bumper, 285 70 r17 on 17" black helo max 6, Dual flowmasters dumped.

    Alright they don't rub or anything? My stock 265's get real close on the front when I turn. Could either of you put up some pics so I can see how they look? I know 285mm is roughly 12in

    And here are a couple after a 3inch body lift.

    you MIGHT have to trim the lower valence a tad bit...no big deal
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
