    4.8 to 5.3 swap

been debting wether or not to swap out my engine i have to 4.8 right now and i wanted to swap out to a 5.3 im pretty sure everything from mine will bolt on to the 5.3, but as far as the wireing harness would i need to get that with the engine i drive a 2006 silverado 4x4 cc and does it have to be a engine out of a 4x4 and also whats the best 5.3 lq4 etc and how can i tell them apart

4x4 or not doesnt matter just use the your motor mounts, also are you sure you dont have a 5.3??? i thought all z71 were 5.3s 5.3, 4.8 is stamped on the block behind the front accesories, an lq4 or lq9 there will be a 6.0 stamp on the block, one easy way to tell which one you have is what vehicle it came out of, also if you do have a 4.8 swapping to a 5.3 really isnt worth that hassle.
