    Ford Tranny

So me and a few buddies went muddin' yesterday, and one of 'em has a ford. After we got done muddin' he told me that it felt like it was drivin weird, so i drove it around a lil' bit and the truck gets up to about 5500 RPM before it shifts, and it takes it around 2-3 seconds to shift. any ideas on what could be wrong wit that POS Ford??? oh ya, its a 1997 F-250, but it's not diesel.

Might unplug all the trans connectors and make sure they are clean and contain no water or mud.
