Hello ...another east coast Canadian cat checking in ... Here is my truck... Its an '05 Silverado Z71 4x4 that I cloned into an SS ...except my truck has a 4.8l and 343 rear ends (I think) ... The warranty now is off... so its time to mod the engine ...suggestions?

also being that is a z71 its more than likely a 5.3 and you either have 3.73 or 4.10 gears.

Thanks for the welcome guys ! ... My truck was a left over and had Z71 decals Bilstien shocks and skid plates? but definitely has a 4.8 with really high gears... I was unsure of either 323 or 343 ... I just have not bothered to check as I want to get to 373 and rear disc brakes so front and rear end swap is in the near future... as for having a thick skin.... I live in Nova Scotia... most of Canada does not consider us Canadian so I have no worries that I can take what is served up from the American brotherhood
