Better runs today. There may be some hope for my truck yet.

Went out again tonight. The good thing about going to school in a military town is that there are tons of 12 and 13 second trucks running around owned by Army guys.

Anyways, I got the chance to run against a rcsb 5.3L with a magnacharger. I told him to do a roll at 30 mph after 3 honks, and he hit it at 2 and when I was half a truck behind him. I ended up walking him once I got to about 70-80.

The best race of the night was against another ecsb 5.3L. He was running a 150 shot, cam, converter, 4.10s, etc. He said his best time to date has been an 8.19(I saw him run an 8.37 last year). We raced from a roll and I pulled on him ever so slightly until until about 100 when we let off.

There was also a guy with an LS2 vette that showed up. He had a 100 DRY shot on and was spraying it AFTER the MAF untuned. I felt bad for that poor motor. He was cocky as can be and didn't want to listen to anything I had to say.

There may be hope for this truck yet. Now I just need to buy some new drag radials and see what it can do at the track with traction.
