When you guys who are doin/have done swaps take your trucks to the exhaust shops to get the system welded up/replaced whatever.......do you drive your truck there? i was told that (maybe its just ls1's) that valves tend to warp when there is no system bolted/welded up, mostly having to do with the length of the header(or in this case, manifold). im thinking im gonna have to have my truck towed to an exhaust shop rather than drive it there myself.

anybody got any thoughts on this?id rather be safe than sorry, and well ive never heard of it before....i dorve my dodge open headers(keyword headers....Edelbrock tubulars) to the shop about 15 minutes from my house.

I drove mine (15min) to town with the cats only. It wasn't even that loud.

I wouldn't drive the truck with manifolds only, some ppl talk about burning valves or something like that.

jeff had a little bit of pipe and a cat to make his just fine,
just throw it on a trailer and go,

    good luck,
