trucks keeps stalling???

Hey need a little help here my fathers truck keeps stalling when you slow down or stop, sometimes it fine but other times it stalls alot. Its a 2000 RCSB 5.3 auto. would it be the MAFS being dirty. any ideas let me know please and thanks.

clean the MAF and throttle body and report back.

Does the speedo work?

If the VSS is not being read, they will choke out when slowing down or stopping.

speedo works fine, will clean MAF and throttle body after work today and report back.

My 2000 did the same - I had Patrick G tune it. He added air flow when the AC kicked on to lessen the stumble, and then adjusted the timing which helped alot, not sure what else he changed but it runs great now.

Like you I changed 02 sensors, cleaned the TB, MAF, changed the fuel pressure regulator, I think I'm leaving a couple things off but never fixed the stumble till Patrick tuned it.

so i cleaned the MAF it was dirty but it didn't fix the problem......what should i do next get the truck tuned????

I had the same problem with my 03 but i totaled it before i got it all worked out. Problem solved
