Anyone know where to get 3" band clamps pretty quick? Muffler is suppose to be coming in Mon. and I want to go ahead and put it on that night but need to pick some up after work. Like at Lowes' or Home Depot or even a muffler shop if possible. Anyone think it's a bad idea to use clamps instead of welding it because I'm going to dump it at the muffler and get rid of the tailpipe for now???

Not sure of any place locally, for you. I know summit has some , they are real quick about shipping, order one now and i'm sure it will be there tuesday or so, with quick shipping.

I'll try at NAPA. Some people on the other board said auto parts places started stocking them regularly so I'll give it a shot. If I can't find anything I'll just weld it on. Summit is where I got the muffler and they said it would be in Thurs. but it won't make it until Mon. and I ordered it last Mon. So far thats the slowest shipping yet for an item I've gotten lately from anyone!!! Hell, I've gotten stuff off ebay quicker that that!!! I just can't wait to see how loud it's going to be over the Gibson piece of shit fart can. I bet the neighbors are going to love hearing me pull out at 5:30 every morning.
