Question about new intake gasket install

Hey Guys,

Im going to be doing the knock sensor replacement this weekend (thanks for the great info on this subject here). Ill be replacing the sensors and harness but was wondering if I need to use any silicone on the intake gasket during reassembly. This is on a 2000 5.3 silverado.

Nope silicon on the intake gasket. Its a rubber gasket just make sure you dont get it in a bind
