Exhaust and boltons for my 08 5.3?

Hey, I have an '08 crew cab 2wd Chevy with a 5.3. I'm not sure what exhaust to go with, I'm in between Flowmaster and Magnaflow and I'm not sure whether to do true duals, dual in/out, or single in/ dual out. Either way I am getting turndowns, I just want it to be really deep and loud. I am also considering ditching the manifold and getting a set of LT headers, how will this change my sound and performance? Which brand should I get and how much do they run? How well do the stock cats flow, and should I replace them with hi flow cats? I also want to know which bolt-ons you recommed. I plan on getting either a supercharger or turbo and building my tranny and rearend in the future but wanted to get some little things done first. I want a CAI and was looking at either AFE or Volant, a custom tune, and maybe some servos or something.

stay with the Y pipe go magnaflow ( i perfer) go dual out or turn it down. lt's would really wake it up with a great tune if you dont have one ..

    magnaflow all the way.
and then get a tune, cai,
after that a good cam and stall are nice mods.
vette servo is real cheap and a good mod as well.

Those whom suggested Magnaflow, what size should I get, dual in/out, single in/ dual out ect? I plan on getting LT headers and possibly a high flow cat. Also, I was thinking about getting them to stretch the outlets to like 3 1/2".

    Again this works for me. MagnaFlow 14419 - MagnaFlow Performance Mufflers – SummitRacing.com It's Pacesetter LTs, a 3" y-pipe & that muffler.

If you plan on getting a turbo anytime soon, don't bother with headers. If you want a supercharger than get them.
Big slow mud truck with a TUNE!!!!!!
