I did my 160 therm last night and found out my 04 has no drain cock, why
did they leave that off? There is a molding on the drivers side bottom but no
cock valve/hole installed. Is this a mistake or are all the 04's like this?

My truck has a drain plug, no draincock like the old style (is that what you mean??). Look for a tab on the bottom of the radiator on the driver's side. It just threads in and out.

I'll be damned, I learn something new everyday. It seems gm is making where it is impossible to work on your own vehicle.
