    first time after cam..

    hey guys, I went to a dirt-sand track here in town, and I raced a couple of trucks.. first of all, I ran in 4wd LOW cause I was racing on a dirt-sand track.. my best time was 6.12 sec..
    I beat a 1979 FORD that had a 460ci engine with cam and all those goodies..
    a buddy of mine did 5.49 on his 1989 chevy carburated 6.0L and 150 shot of nos..
    I didn't spray my truck.. I haven't used nos on my truck since I installed.. I'm just afraid of blowing up the tranny..
    the check engine light showed up in my truck.. monday will check why..
    I'm in my iPhone so I don't have a chance to upload the time slip.. but I will if you want me to.. it doesn't show up a lot, just reaction time and ET..

    Sounds like alot of fun, but 4 low? I have only used low for pulling people out of the mud and crawling at very low speeds!

    we race pretty much every weekend in the sand and we always use 4wd LOW.. I've tried 4wd HI but the beat the $#|+ out of me everytime! give it a try.. you'll be amazed with the difference..

    I had my stock tires, I run them @ 10psi.. but I definetly need to put my km2's on to race again because the truck was hitting his rev limiter in every shift.. people says that the truck did that cause it was spinong with those tires.. I don't have a video but will get one next Saturday..

    I'd need to find me a sand filled open area to try it in! Every place I know of is too rocky and rough to be blasting through in 4 Low.

    Really does sound like some fun though, "Sand Drags"!

    Love to see some video too...
