Well, all I can say is wow. Is this a crew cab truck or a 4 door trans am with a 5'-8" bed? Great improvement. Install took me about 15 minutes total, didn't even have to do the pass-key re-learn. Noticed a difference as soon as I started the truck and gassed it a sec. Took the truck out for a spin for about an hour. The truck is scary fast from like 20 mph all the way up through the powerband. Can't wait to get to the track now. I have to send my original unit back to Allen because my truck is too new and he can't program my vin# into the other unit, so I am going to have him tune it a little more aggresively and remove the rest of torque management. I'm at 80% removal right now.

But Allen is the Man, maybe you should coin the catchphrase.

I don't think there is pass key in the 04 CC, mine don't have it.
And my car is a 95 TA, so i can tell you off the line my 04 CC
don't have a chance against a TA, too much weight.

My last car was a 2000 Trans Am, so I know all about how they drive. But for a Crew Cab truck it is not bad at all. Your right, off the line no where near the same. Just making a little comment there referencing to the way the truck used to feel.

I did not know that though about the pass-key on the 04's.

I thought all new vehicle has a anti theft system with keys but
I went to the parts dept and they said, NOPE that's a plain old
key. I was a bit let down that my $30K truck is not worthy a
pass key. I thought that's how it new driver 1 or 2 but that comes
    from the remote.

Good to hear Allen has the 5.3 cc dialed in. He sure has the 6.0 crew's down.
Now you guys need to get a blower and have him tune that.......

Hey, nice to hear from you!!
    Glad the tune worked out.
I'll get that pcm sent back as soon as i get it. I couldn't flash a pcm with your vin because your truck was so new sps doesn't has an update yet, so a similar pcm with a diff vin works just fine as a patch. Kind of like loading Windows on your pc and having to load a driver, your card was made after Windows was released. The update is hopefully on the way, but that won't hold up tuning your original pcm.
The hot tune 93 does work out great, I just got a call from a customer saying his 35" tire 4x4 ec HD 6L truck just beat a regular cab hemi, that was a nice story to hear!

thanks for the update and have fun,

    allen

Yeah it works great Allen and I was able to do my first tire squealing takeoff yesterday evening when I was out huntin Hemi's. Too bad I can't get anyone to run me. Anyways, my original pcm will be at the UPS store this afternoon, so you should have it next week sometime. I've got about 150 miles on the tune right now, so it is really starting to crank the power. Every time I get in the truck it feels a little better.

    Thanks again.
