    Good compression at high mileage

After installing a cam and rocker arms, I performed a quick compression test to make sure my valve adjust was good-to-go. I was happily surprised to see 180 psi compression across the board!! And there's 120,000 miles on the ticker. lol, gotta love these ls series engines.

good numbers. was there any variences?

have you ever done a leak down test? with those numbers your leak down should be pretty good as well

I had a variation with #2 and #4 until I re-adjusted the valves, and #8 showed 175. As for a leakdown test, it didn't seem to be necessary. Shop air pressure is 140 psi, and there was only a tiny bit of air escaping to the crankcase, could barely even hear it.
