    Smile pics of the coupe

I will post pics soon, i have to re-size them, its says they are to big to upload. The mustang has a complete swap in the RWD form. Mods include: Custom built RWD conversion Magnus intake manifold, 90mm Accufab throttle body, custom built top mount full stainless turbo manifold, PT-67 ball bearing turbo, 4" exhaust with flowie and dump near rear end, full Aeromotive fuel system, 1200cc Bosch injectors (runs on E85), Electromotive TEC3r engine management, remote mount electric water pump, Buschur racing Mitsu to Chevy trans adapter plate and flywheel, Ati TH350 and 4000 stall converter, custom built solid motor mounts, trans mount and drive shaft. rear end is stock and waiting for spool and axles. Stock 91 2.0 block with a 2.4 mighty max crank that has been knife edged, Crower rods and Arais pistons(2.3 stroker), fully balanced, CNC ported first gen head that has been hand blended by heads by drew, manely valves, forced performance valve train and custom grind cams, BLE solid lifters, custom coil on plug setup with busa coils, 3.5" garret core intercooler with custom end tanks, 3" all aluminum custom intercooler piping, 3 core aluminum radiator, tial 44mm waste gate and 50mm blow off valve. I still need to get my Drag lites, tires and finish building the rear end. Also needs some body work and a paint job but its getting there!! Its been a three year project. And to be honest i really don't care what negative things people think about it so keep the drama to your self, Thanks!

Quick section I read here I wanted to ask about. Why would you run a off road Y pipe into Flowmasters then a X pipe? Why not run the LT into a X pipe then to two Flowmasters (or Magnaflows which flow better). And seriously what are the spec of the cam you are looking at a 281 seems really big for these trucks. Especially a 4.8.
By the way I know the Gen1 4G63 was a beastly motor. It could hold 30 psi stock. (not for long but it would I know retard down the road did it) But why not Build up the 302 if you sank the same amount of cash in that small block you would be closer to 1k on power. I know I use to be a 4 banger guru in my town and Been around Mitsus for awhile.

Casey--the DSM engine was horizontally-opposed with a FWD tranny. He had to adapt the motor to the Mustang's RWD setup.

Welcome to LS1truck! Damn, that is one helluva Mustang! Weird, but I bet is is fast as chit!

And I am with Ian--that 281 cam is slightly too big for the 4.8L 4X4. I would not let the duration get any higher than 228 and lift to .53X... I have seen the GMPP ASA cam work well with 4.8L trucks--but a minimum of a 3000 stall is required.
