4th WOT is done in the valve body as far as I know.

Youll be golden with the corvette. You cant shift into OD at WOT with a stock tranny. It will never shift. Just keep revving until you hit fuel cut. But dude... to hit OD in the 1/4 is hauling ass!!!

That's one of them. There's also a 1-2 above the valve body spacer plate that is plastic in a lot of the stock transmissions.

You can shift into OD at WOT with valve body modifications. Remember though that I went about 115 in 3rd no where near the RPM limit. 4th would be scary. LOL

Werd. On my last trip to the track, I was at about 6k rpms in 3rd when I crossed the traps. 107.17 mph. I still had about 500rpms before OD was needed. Thats like 120+ mph

    Jeff...you make me feel bad.

I wish mine did 107 at the top of third.....that would mean it actually has gears and can accelerate. I think mine would do more than 120 in 3rd at less than 5900.... I shift 1-2 at like 44 and 2-3 at about 84......3rd lasts for a while.

...but if I had a 3000 stall and some 4.10's....

You will have some tuning to do in order to do a full throttle 3-4 upshift. As for a servo I would look into the sonnax 4th gear servo for what you are looking to do. Vince
