    Just Joined the Army!

    I just joined the U.S Army today and im a little nervous about bootcamp. I dont leave until March Because i have to finish up college but im still nervous. Is anybody here currently enlisted or a Veteran? What was it like and thank you for your service!
    2000 rcsb z71. Bought it from my dad, the original owner! 100k on the clock. corvette servo. soon to be tuned!!

    1990 2wd rcsb. stepside. lowered 2 and 4. cowl hood. molded roll pan. 89 BMW recaro leather seats, dakota digital guage cluster. LT1 swap: ported and polished 96 corvette heads, LT4 hotcam kit, pcmforless tune, nv3500 5speed, corporate 14 bolt rear with spool and 4:11 gearing.

    i think there's someone on here.....what's your MOS going to be? who got the 2K referrral money?

    You guys are lucky. Things have changed a lot in the past 7 years. Yall will have acog or halo scopes. We had iron sights. Also look for politically correct MRE's.

    that all depends on MOS and unit assigned.

    Acogs and Halos are the tits. Have a halo on the m4a4 and keep the acog in a pouch on my belt.

    Start doing push ups and situps and running now. The main part of boot camp is physical. The other part is mental. Just remember the drills really have nothing against you. They just want you to jump when told to and not ask why. Do exactly what they say when they say it and you'll be fine.

    Oh and be a man and don't use your stress card lol. But yes start training now. Better be able to run at least 10 miles no problems, and do 100 push ups and sit ups no problem.
