    4.8 Question

will the intake off of a ls1 work on my 4.8. Is there any advantages(other than lookin bad a**)or Disadvantages of a ls1 intake. Will the throttle body bolt up? How about any of the sensors. Is this a bolt on and go mod or is this a fab mod? Thanks for any input

Its Basically Just Like The (how To Swap Ls6) Intake On The Front Page.

Honestly Man I Did It On My Old Cammed 5.3,really Didnt Help Much.dont Get Me Wrong It Looks Out Of The Ordinary And Badazz.
Go Ls6 Intake Not Ls1.you may gain top end and rev quicker but will definately lose low end torque,us truck guys need torque.
If It Was Me I Would Go Fast 90 Intake.but Damm Very Pricey
    Good Luck

I'd wait and see how the new edelbrock intake will perform before i would do any thing.

Funny how people like the lope of a lower power cam and the looks of a lower power intake.

Don't do it unless you just want the engine to look "cool".
