    gauge pods

thinking about changing up my gauge layout so they dont sit right on the pillar. I was thinking about putting my a/f gauge on the steering column, and then putting the interceptor and boost gauge above the rearview mirror.

anyone have any other suggestions? reason I want to change it, so that they dont get stolen, and the fact that I cant get races sometimes because they see the gauges and hear the whistle and get scared.. id rather them hear the whistle and not see the gauges till its too late.. lol

Before you change it all up David...is there anyone in Austin who doesn't know your truck? j/k...think of it this way, the people who don't want to race just because of the sight of gauges, you probably would have beaten anyway. This is an easy way to separate the men from the boys.

I think you're just spoiled now because you're an All-american XC runner...everything just feels slower...

but I dunno I just dont feel like my truck is that fast. Maybe I need to race more cars or stuff that is fast to see where my truck is really at you know? Like match up well against something? Or get a reality check and lose pretty bad to something lol

Don't know what to tell you there. Seems like I always find someone to race when I'm with the kids/wife or late somewhere...basically all the times I can't run someone. I think your truck is fast...you just drive it all the time so the "newness" of the spring has worn off. No matter what you do though, someone will always be slower, and quicker...

well im back home right and there is a handful of diesels here that I can screw around with, and when i was in san antonio yesterday by la cantera I played with a typhoon, and immediately after that a cobalt SS with loud ass exhaust didnt wanna run, and then an SRT 4 was behind me. but there was sooooooooooooo much traffic that it was all just looking and blips of the throttle. pretty annoying because i see NO ONE in austin when im cruising and when I see all these people here theres a butt load of traffic

What it a yellow SRT-4? When i was in SA a few weeks ago i smoked a yellow srt-4 in my girl friends slk 32 amg on I-10.. Totally burned him from a 60 roll all the way to 120. I had the top down on the MERC and was waving at him as i was pulling away looked back to see where he was and the f er was getting off of the freeway.. Guess he was embarrased...
