We're officially a distributor for HPtuners!

Instead of posting all the great things this software can do, check out HPTuners

Our pricing is the same, however, we'll support the product for anyone who purchases hptuners from Nelson Performance.
Just to clarify, supporting the product is not the same thing as providing free tuning; that will be an additional cost.

thanks and please contact us for details,

timing issues in 5.3 ecm to 6.0ls

I'm swapping a 5.3 with a 6.0 in an 03 z71. I have a K&N airbox with a superchips flashpac tuner and duals already on or in the truck. I wanted to swap the 5.3 heads with a little porting? to freshen them up as they have 134K miles on them and Mean05 tells me that the timing in the ECM for the 5.3 may be to advanced. If so can superchips write the program to retard the timing? Or what do you folks suggest needs done to make it work?
    Thanks for any help

toss that superchips thing in the trash and go to Nelson Performance - Performance without Sacrificing Drivability. Go with the best in the business. I have heard this from people from east to west coast and I have experianced it first hand. I have also heard that Allen is the best from Pro engine builders.

Yeah, turn the SuperCrap back to stock and sell it...then take the proceeds and get a new tune from Allen. Oh, and freshening the heads is a good idea.
