Don't bother withthe shorties. Wait til you can afford some real headers like the TOG's. Be sure and get them coated too. You won't be unhappy!

If you were to go with the shorties......The Edlebrocks are nice, just be sure to get the coated ones.
If you are going Long tube....AZSM is the way to go in my book
If you are looking at Mid Lengths...TOG's are outstanding!

I just got some Edlebrock shortys on my 04 scsb 5.3 an they fit perfect an you can fell the power. So you deffinatly cont go wrong with Edlebrocks

New Set up: 2004 chevy 5.3 ext cab, 12 inch twisted suspension lift, 36's, exhaust.
future mods: 150-200 shot, ls1 edit, air intake, stall, 5.13 gears, 12s or bust
Thanks for the input.....I am a lot out of date...I am used to small block, double hump heads, and a dominator on top. Get me up to speed on these new trucks. How do I know if my 99 has AIR?

TOG's are only a couple inches shorter than the ASM's. Only enough to make the installation much easier and minimal at the most performance differences.

Don't laugh at me when I say this, but I'm putting headers on my 4.3L. What brand and length (long tube, shorties) would you recommend I get. I know it won't sound the best, but it should help and the power will be much appreciated.
