throttle body spacers are worthless on fuel injected motors...they were designed for carburated motors....

only benefit is if its tapped for nitrous like Chevykid said

I believe Greg picked up a tenth in the 1/4 with his - and he's fuel injected.

Well I had a blown up 1989 4.3 with missing pistons laying around my house and a friend of mine asked what I was doing with it. I was going to give it to him but he offered his 1 inch throttle body spacer for it. I put it on and actually noticed a difference on top end. Honestly what I like most about it is the cool whistling it makes around 1800 rpms.

The only reason you saw any increase was because your motor had throttle body injection. I had one on my 87 with a 5.7 and it helped out also bt that was also TBI.
    Step 1. crus at it.
    Step 2. get a hammer.
    Step 3. torch it.
