Hey guys, I'm getting ready to buy a cam soon and was wondering who else is considering a cam.

I'm looking for a cam profile something like 224/570/112

Anybody else getting something pretty close to that? I have a contact for custom grinds and maybe we can get about 3 made.

If I saw a 218/224 low lift on a 114 I'd buy it. I don't wanna fork over the 400 for a new one though.

I think I'm gonna get those heads I was telling you about too. If anything else, they should be nice and hogged out as well as smooth.

hey Allen what size would you suggest?
    and how much?
I got the 1.85 rocker arms also. gonna get one of those valve cover spacers so I dont have to worry about rocker arm clearance with the valve covers.

I was thinking the 212/218 .522/.529 114, but I dont know if that will make me happy.
I want a good lope and power.
not really worried about the bottem end so much.
    any suggestions?
    thanks,
    Daniel

Want mine if I pull it out for something bigger?

216/220 low lift on a 114+2. It would be a little on the larger side of moderate for your 4.8.

It will have a pretty tame idle to it with minimal gains.

    go bigger ...
