    Change of heart...

    I have decided to buy a Hemi ram......
    yeah right!!!!
    Seriously, I have decided to slow down if not stop modding My 2004 extended cab and save up for a built motor and trans for My wifes 1997 reg cab step side. After I swap out the 4.3 for a bigger (undecided on how much bigger) V8, I wiil detune the 2004 so she can drive it, or trade it for an SUV. Or whatever she wants. This has been a thought for a while but after seeing ricky's vid and others I really want to do this. Plus I owe 5 years on the 2004 and I will own the 97 this year. I might buy a locker, and just run my setup until I get my built engine. I am fairly confidant I can run a high 13 with just adding a locker and decent tires to my setup... wich is plenty. Tell me what you guys think, I want to know your input seriously. Sorry for the novel.

    Jeff, i hear ya. i love these body styles the most, and specially a rcsb.

    if you do go for the swap, keep the N2O for that truck. i wanna get some just to play with

    Yeah Jeff, you plan sounds like a good one. It would be fun to mod the 97. I am a fan of the OBS trucks as well. The swap will be quite intense...as you saw with Ricky's swap, it will be around $4500 to $5000 for the complete swap...

    the OBS trucks can look SICK with a lil TLC. ive got as buddy with a 98 that id own in a heartbeat. good luck with ur decision!

    i second this one!! i cant wait to have the 5.3 all done and running!! i bought the ARP head bolts so i can play too i was thinking a 50 75 or 100 shot later on down the road just for well.... fun hahaha it will cost you though i think by the time im done it will cost me close to 6500-7000$ but im going crazy with mine

    b/c i couldnt do my own swap over it cost me a lot more, but its cool now i can do the rest my self.

    the truck is fun thats for sure, but still cant get anyone to race
