    Noitrous Kit

I am going to be putting N2O on my forged and balanced 347ci. I was wondering how big a shot you all think i can run with it. I have picked out a ZEX LS1 kit the allows a 250 hp shot. Is that overkill. what do ya'll think. I know some people on here dont like ZEX but I think they are top notch and safer than Push Button Types. Any advice will be appreciated and i know I will need a tune for the nitrous to retard timing with that amount of a shot. Thanks Guys.

Do you feel comfortable with your engine build to run a 250 shot? If so I say screw it and run the 250.

You should easily be able to get away with the 125. There are guys running that on a stock motor. I don't know a whole lot about nitrous but I would think with it being forged, balanced and the proper tune, you could do the 200. The real question is....can your transmission????

    Thanks for everyones input

AsI far as thr tranny goes it was built by Rutland and was completely redone with very good parts. I was thinking 250 shot too. By the way we have changed the converter to prevent balooning so i think it will hold as long as I maintain it. it should be a fun ride when all is said and done I was thinking about a timing controller to have good performance without the spray. What I mean is be able to adjust the timing. But I cant find the site i found earlier that gives details. I believe it's made by MSD. I will also be adding MSd coils and of course NGK Tr6 Iridium plugs. More stuff to mention i will be purchasing. Probably gonna need some slicks too.

You might not need it but I run a MSD rpm window switch. So im not spraying while the trans is shifting. So no ballooning. Id say yes on the 250 as well.
