how well dose the finish last on the pacesetter LT's over time. i put a set of flowtech afterburner ceramic headers on my 84 monte ss and they did not last well.

I have a set of LT's that have been on my truck for 8k miles, and just ask Mean05, these things have been through hell and back two or three times, and still look pretty decent as far as the finish goes. No rust at all.

God created turbo lag so nitrous trucks could have a chance.

Just be careful, if you DO use header wrap it typically voids any warranty.
yeah ive used header wrap in the past, and if you get the spray on coating and coat them after you wap them, it helps keep out the moisture and therefore the headers and wrap will last longer, and i believe the wrap helps keep more heat in the tubes than the ceramic coating, plus i always liked the way it looked.
Ill probably go this route when i put the LT's on my truck.
Pacestter LT's coating is pretty damn good. I have never heard of anyone complain about the coating flaking off or anything--even up in the North where they get a little more of extreme temps and with the salt...
