what size primary/collector you need for headers?
I see 3/4 and 7/8 etc but have no idea what I should go with.

both will work fine just go for a set of headers that are in you price range and make sure they are long tubes. Me and a few other members on this forum have purchased the OBX LT package however it does remove your cats.
It actually depends on how much flow your heads put out and if you have an upgraded intake or forced induction. If you're running stock I would go 1 3/4" if you are planning on some serious mods to make 400 plus rear HP go with the 1 7/8". We've been going with 1 7/8" Kooks on C5's and C6's and getting 430 - 450 plus on an intake, cam and tune with LS1/LS6 engines. On a 5.3 you better talk to someone who has dyno numbers.

For what you are doing, 1 3/4" will be more than enough.
