Has anyone used the Readylift brand or equivalent suspension kit for the front of their truck? If so, how do you like it, where can i get them at a decent price, and how hard were they to install?

2010 Silverado ECSB LS 4x4. Only mods so far are a K&N drop in filter and a Rough Country 2" front level kit
just get poly blocks for the coils or the torsion keys to lift the front
Crank the torsion keys a few times on both sides. A new alignment will be necessary afterward.

Go to the ford dealer and buy torsion keys for a f250super duty they will bolt right in and give you 2inchs of lift plus there only $50 for both and if u mark the key postion b4 u start u wont need an alignment. On the install part u will need the torsion bar tool or a huge C clamp both work just as good. Using the tool or c clamp, clamp it down on the tip of the key and the top of the crossmember this will hold the key up when u losen the bolt. And jacking the front of the truck up will help take some pressure off the keys.Well thats all I know.O and I found this on the net think it will help with install http://www.readylift.com/ecom/upload...ns_V6_8-07.pdf

Thanks GenIII. Doing this won't have a negative affect on the drive shaft will it? I don't want to ruin a U joint or anything from being @ a different angle.

Any ride height adjustment WILL change your camber, caster, and toe angles. If you do not realign after, please call me when you need to replace your tiresWelcome to Johnson Tire Service
thinking of alaska reminds me of that movie 40 days of night.
Btw I agree on the realignment. you probably need one now.
I'm on the verge of needing one already, so I guess I'll raise the front then get one.

depending on how high he turns the keys will affect the alignment but when I did mine i only cranked 2 turns so mine was fine and since i used to do alignments all day I know mine was right. And no it wont have any affect with ur drive shaft if its 4x4 cuz since they have a t-case they have a one peice shaft as far as the 2 peice shaft im not sure prob not but the good thing about the ford keys is u can turn them all the way down so its stock height and when u get the right parts to fix the shafts angle just turn em up.

so mine being a 2WD, it could have a bad affect on the drive shaft?
