I bet a HEMI scsb the other day in my tbi 350. They dont run as good as i thought. My brother in law has one and he tries to bet me 100 dollars if i race him. Thats a little too much money for me to bet right now, considering the ls1 swap im trying to save for. But, now i might actually take him up on that. This weekend is when its going down. What do the hemis run stock? The one i raced is just like my brother in laws, 20's, 3.55's.

well it depends. is it an extended cab, or a single cab.
extended cabs run about a mid 15 sec pass or so.
and i have seen a stock single cab run a 15.1.
so thats about what you got to shoot for.
    also depends on the driver.

This last weekend a few HEMIs were out at the San Antonio track. I watched upper 15s to 17s for the Super Cabs. There was one there with exhaust and intake in Reg Cab short bed form that ran 14.7 or so.

Quad cab on 20's will run tall 15's
You have a good running 350 TBI,
If he wasn't scared he'd run for a pepsi

Hemi's with freemods are running better
reg cab 14.5 quads mid to low 15's at MMSP sat.

do the hemis come in 1/2 ton? I heard there viper trucks only run a 13.8...... seems kind of slow for almost a 50k truck

I know some of the Hemis come with traction control so maybe that is why you couldnt light up the tires. That could be a good thing at the track for the hemis though. I wonder what kind of gasmileage they get. i get like 15 with mixed highway and city driving. I thought it would be a lot better than that considering i have 3.08 gears. I think the reason my truck runs diecent for a tbi is because it is a standard. I buddy of mine put a stall and a shift kit in his and i can still beat him in the quarter and top end. but he can get me out of the hole my clutch doesnt seem to hold very well. This weekend its going down with my brother inlaw. He has an scsb with 20's and traction control. yes the hemi does come in half tons. Thats how dodge can claim more horsepower than ford or chevy in their comercials even though it doesnt run like 345 horsepower. I think the viper trucks have a traction problem i know 500ftlbs. is hard to put down on street tires. I think they weigh close to 6000.
