    Hey guys I just got done installing a trailblazer tc and superior shift kit and billet servo's.....but anyways i have a autometer cobalt tranny gauge and i have the sending unit in the test port on the side of the tranny..its not very accurate on reading temps...im wondering were else i could put it to be more accurate..ive been told a pan but i want to keep my stock one and its impossible to weld a bung on that thin thing....Any suggestions?

    Instead of welding the fitting on, epoxy it on; did that for my VDO oil temp sending unit in the side of my Firebird oil pan 15 years ago and still no leaks Just make sure the surfaces are chemically clean, wipe first with paper towells and acetone (or similar).
