I was wondering what are some suggestions for a quiet, good flowing muffler? I don't have cats anymore so that will make a difference. I just want something thats more quiet and still flows good.

I'm also putting one on the new truck I get and want to sound close to stock but it will still flow well with intake & tune. Maybe just a tad more sound but want NO drone in the cab.

You should probably go with a turbo style muffler from like Magnaflow or Dynomax, and run it all the way out the back. It'll probly be a little louder than stock but I bet it would sound good and strong.

have you thought about the Flowmaster 70 series? Its supposed to be one of the quietest. If not I would choose Magnaflow, they make some good mufflers with quiet but great sounding tones.

In place of your cats you could also stick a Dynomax bullet/glasspack style muffler in to further quiet things down. They will be slightly more restrictive, but not as bad as cats. You may pickup some more torque from the added backpressure anyway.

I've been researching for awhile now, and I've decided to go magnaflow.... I'm even considering going from a single inlet, dual outlet, to a dual inlet outlet.

I just gotta decide if I want the 14" or the 22".......

I'm not sure how much noise i want
