Not as much as I had hoped for, but better than before!
331 hp 352 tq-After headers, exhaust and more tuning I think it will make somewhere aroung 380 to the wheels.

    Hey Kevin,
What exactly are the specs on the cam and heads?

Not to discourage, but those numbers seem low for those mods?

330hp to the wheels is a lot for any truck or car, but you're right it should be closer to 380hp is those heads are ported and that cam is somewhat aggressive.

btw, you going to RCR for the truck meet?

    later,

    allen

the cam is 218/224 529/536 not much lift so there is probably more with some 1.8 rockers, Stage I heads stock valves with 3 angle valve job and mild porting
they flowed nearly 280 at .550. I am still trying to run down any problems there might be, but after going through it again I foung nothing. If I make 380 with exhaust I wont be far behind what the cars put down with this setup (remember i have quit abit more drive line loss). If I had a freak motor like you have I would be beter off! I will be there if it doesn't rain.

Hey HayHauler nice avatar! We should get all the Admin/Mods to have ones like that to distinguish themselves from others.

Glad to see your truck is gettin faster... you should get some next.

im with allen. i hope you can get some more outta that thing although not much work was done to the heads it seems. not enough to consider it a heads/cam truck...more like just a cammed truck. i hope to hit around 310-320rwhp with exhaust/intake

Exactly, I'm not sure how much I'm making to the wheels, but I hope it's around 320 also, i'd be happy with that.

JPR stage I heads that flow as good as some stage II heads- I think that would be considered a good set of heads. Remember I am running stock exhaust to the tail pipe, and spinning 2 drive shafts with a carrier bearing = more loss compared to the cars. Peak power was 331, but it made power very linear to 6500 rpms. The motor was still making 320 Hp when I let out of it at 6200 When comparing what the stock heads and cam made, the power gains under the curve are significant. I am sure there is more in it with tuning, but I am going to stop until I get exhaust. Hopefully it won't rain Friday, and we will se what it can do.

yeah exhaust and some more tuning might net you more than a bone stock motor. hopefully your goal of 380 is within reach then. thats about ~50hp with exhaust/headers and more tuning(although tuning may not net a lot, unless its a dynotune).

would be nice numbers, and i forgot about the 2 piece driveshaft.

didnt know about the heads being that done over, never heard of JPR.

Man, you seem like you are very experienced at this! Let me know what I need to do to get the gains I am wanting. What is it that you drive.
