I currently have a stock 6.0L in my 1999 sierra, but want to go to a LQ9 service replacement engine, but have a question. The earlier 6L motors have a longer crank to mate to the 4l80E, but how did they do it in later models, like the newer HDs? I think i heard something about they use a spacer behind the flywheel, so i could probably do that, just buy a spacer. Anyone know for sure?
