Thread: gapping the ngk tr6's

    like the title says do u guys have these plugs with the radix setup and what would be the best gap for them over on pt.net there's some gapping them at .032-.028. would this help or not any thoughts

    Yes, you want to keep a smaller plug gap w/forced induction. A smaller gap will ensure ignition in denser air/fuel mixtures from forced induction.

    .035-.032 in that range is good

    I gapped mine either .030 or .035. I don&#39;t remember which one it was for sure. Don&#39;t go any wider than .035 or you might blow the spark out.

    yep i did mine 35 but i dont have a blowy thingy ... but i have always heard use a smaller gap for F/I

    Allen had me lower mine to .028

    You might want to see if you should be at .030
