Hey Allen...wanted to let you know that I got the re-tuned stock PCM back and installed. Still have a SES light but haven't gone check the code. Doing that tonight. Here are some things that seem to be resolved. They were minor but a bit bothersome.

Background first. This truck is wierd. If it has the opportunity to act funky, it will. Ask Allen or Billy! Allen tried a CASE learn four times before it stuck but then it "unlearned" on the way back to Dallas from SA. Had that checked and the PCM was reading 1rpm difference across the board. It also had kind of a miss on decel and on a flat throttle at lower (<1500) rpms. I sent Allen the stock PCM back and he reloaded the tune. After the install, it seems that all of those issues are gone.

Truck is strong and smooth now. Thanks for the help Allen.

Yeah my old truck was a bitch too! It had a pinging problem no matter how much timing you ran on it or how good the fueling was. Good to hear you got it running!

Well....I WAS glad! Had the codes checked the other night and guess what?!?!?!? P1336! Not once but twice! Guy read it and P1336 was stored twice. Cleared it and it came back immediately on start up. I guess I need to have a hard look at the sensor. I don't think I have a misfire and it originally threw the code after the the converter install. Something may have gotten bumped. Not excited about pulling the starter to get to it.

CKP/CASE learn have been done. Allen tried 4 times on one PCM and had trouble with it "sticking". It finally did "stick" but then "unstuck" on the way home. Thought that maybe it was the PCM and Allen re-tuned the stock PCM which should have corrected the problem. That worked for about 200 miles and then got the p1336 code again. Thinking it has to be the sensor or something related and not just the CKP learn.
