Thumbs up

Ok Guys.....

Need help based on ur experience on drag racing trucks!!!!!!

I have a Challenge on thursday night so I wanna go as best prepared as I can !!!!!!!

The things I have in mind so far are:

Loosing the tailgate
Changing the 4 tires for 16" rims with little tires (post pics later)
Full bottle of Nitrous and 200 pills.
Loosing copilot and middle seat.
5Glns of 110 octane racing Gasoline.
Changing engine oil, and fuel filter.

My questions are:

How much timming do you think I'll have to run WOT with the 200HP shot?
How much A/F ratio should I'll be targeting at Wot with the same setup?
What Else Can I lose from the truck to save weight?

Please, any tips will be greatly apreciated, and followed. Also I'll try to contact Allen (if posible) to help me with a nice radical tune.

Thanks in advance for the help

What plugs are you running? Get rid of the platinum plugs and get you a set of NGK's like TR6's. I'd gap them as wide as I could without them sparking out. Retard the timing 8 degrees for the 200 shot only when you're spraying and remember 200 is getting pretty high up there for a stock 5.3 so make sure you eliminate all possibilities of detenation. Make sure you spray WOT and not 1/2 or 3/4. I wouldn't spray off the line either unless you have a damn good set of slicks and you're able to plant them. You should be able to pick up 1.5 to 3.0 seconds with the proper 200 shot. I'm just giving you some advice and don't want to be responsible for a daily driver. You might want to spray 100 to 150 and pull the copper plugs for inspection before advancing to 200. REmember 2 degrees retard for every 50 shot of nitrous JMHO Good luck!

Farmtruc,

I'm still seeing 13.4 on the AEM WB on WOT.

In cruise RPms is really nice rounding 13.7-14.2 That's perfect IMO.

But on WOT I'll like to see around 12.5 or less just to be safe on NOS.

Nor that I know much about it, but been my fuel system capable of, really like to stay on the safe side, careless of dumping fuel, as long as I dont lose horse power.......

Just asking for knowledge.....

You could ditch the front swaybar, don't run a full tank of fuel, only like a quarter or so.
