My buddy is selling this cam i am wondering if it would do good in a 5.3L? and how would it be at idle? i got this from a different form "For sale is a custom grind COMP cam for an LS1. 224/227 .570/570 on a 114LSA. It has only been used for a month and made almost 400rwhp by the original owner in an A4 Z/28. You will not be dissapointed." thanks for any help

On a 114 lsa the idle shouldn't be that bad, but with a tune you can get it to where you want. I'm pretty sure without a stall the truck would be a dog down low.

tuning and a stall will be a MUST for that cam.
stall will have to be around 3200 to 3400 to gain optimal performance out of that cam.
