For those of you with a Nelson tune, what kind of change did you notice to you fuel mileage?

In my '01 I had a MPG tune and saw 2+ mpg immediately after. My dad was able to pull 3+, old style driving...

But the addiction of speed was too compelling and the power tune in the VHO was on

Well....I didn't see any mileage improvement but I didn't see any decrease either. I went from bolt-ons to 5 psi to 10psi boost and saw no change in mileage.

I don't drive real fast all the time...I just get to the speed I want to drive REALLY quick! Others that have ridden in my truck are impressed with the mileage that I get considering the HP and the way I drive.

As soon as my wife gets over her stroke from my tranny crapping out, I'm getting Allen to tune her 'burb for economy/performance.

    Thanks for the responses.

We have a 2006 VortecMaxx that gets horrible fuel mileage. It is a conversion truck with 4.10 gears and 35 inch tires. It gets a whopping 12mpg.

Right now, Allen is working on the WS6. We are thinking about taking this truck out there to pick up the car when it is ready. As such, we are considering a tune. That would be the only reason we drive this one and not my powerstroke. <-18mpg with all kinds of power enhancing upgrades.

So I wanted to see what you folks found with your tunes. Is it worth it from the standpoint of fuel mileage?

i was getting 12.5 mpg with the hypertech that i had at 93 octane before the tune. After i had the tune done with Allens i am now at 14.5 or 14.6 depending on an occassional burst of speed every now and then. Also his tune got me 7 thenths decrease in the quarter.
