Does the fuel trim bank 2 run off of the rear 02 sensors? I deleted the rears from my DTC's but still have the fuel trim left. I assume that's where this reading is taken. Got the pinion angle corrected and the vibration out but have to get a sticker now. The only DTC's I'm getting are the rear 02's and the purge canister. Don't know why the purge canister is still coding because I unchecked the boxes and set it at 3-no error reported.

No have nothing to do with the Bank 2 Sensor 2. They wont always match Bank 1 they can be slighlty different. But if its way off I suspect a leak in the header or around the 02 sensor.

    Still getting a rear 02 code. Make sure you didnt miss any. p0137, p0138, p0140, p0141, p0157, p0158, p0160, p0161, p0420 and p0430.

Had the same problem with the purge, It wasnt throught this code but turning it off fixed it. P01441 EVAP Flow Durning Non Purge.

You can expect even up to 3-4% offset between the two banks. All of the fuel readings are taken off the sensors in front of the cats, all the rears do is make sure the cats are doing their jobs, and if you have no cats, you have no need for the rear sensors. The two banks on my truck have a 1.6% difference, no matter what I do in the tune, they still have that exact difference.

Thanks alot guys! These answers should take care of my problem. I'm going to edit when I get home and see what happens. So how are your banks set up on the cars? In my 97, the manual had bank 1 as the front 02's and bank 2 as the rears. When disabling SES in HP, I'm showing bank1, bank2 with a 3rd sensor. Do the cars cars have 5 sensors?

ChrisJ6 or Tyson, When you edit the tables, do you just open it and change the number in the box? I went into torque management and did what the help threads at HP tuners said. I set Abuse Mode RPM, Abuse Mode TPS and Abuse Mode Speed to 0, clicked over on Abuse Mode Torque Reduction vs RPM and set all values in Normal to 0 in the tables.

Sorry for all of the questions but that's the only way to learn along with reading. Thanks again!!

Tyson, aren't those codes you posted for Bank 1 02's? That's what they show in my file.

There are only 4, 02 sensors, (Bank 1 Sensor 1) and (Bank 2 Sensor 1) are the (front) 02's

The (rear) 02's would be (Bank 1 Sensor 2) and (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

P0137-141 is (Bank 1 Sensor 2) and P0157-161 are for (Bank 2 Sensor 2) witch are the downstream sensors.

P0420 and 430 are for Catalyst Efficency,

Can be a little confusing, Just remember Bank 1 is the same side as cylnder #1 and Bank 2 is same side as cylnder #2. Post cat sensors are (Sensor 2) no matter what Bank.

Ok, thanks I had someone tell me different and this makes more sense to me because I'm getting some incomplete's in the DTC's. I'm going to change everything since I disabled all bank 2 sensors which I was told those were the rears. I guess if I had the 02 manual this would have showed me. I'll let you know what happens.

And just a little trick, set the sensor 2 and 3 codes all to "No error reported" but leave the SES light checked. This will keep your oxygen sensor and catalytic efficiency DTC tests reading "complete!"
