i tried stealing the bracket off of my dads jeep to see if i could just go to the dealorship and get a nice one, but the bottom sticks way out and looks like ass. so i got online and started looking at aftermarket and they all look like they will bulge out at the bottom. anyone find a good flip down license plate bracket that dosent look like crap? maybe some pics?

i just dont like howthey look bulging out so heres what i did.

i put bolt through the license plate with an nut on the other side so the bolt cant turn(plate isnt on the truck at this point). i drilled the holes in the rollpan just a hair bigger to where the bolts will fit in freely. on the backside i just put some wing nuts. it comes off easily without any extra tools, and looks alot better IMO. i have to crawl up under the truck to get the trailer ball and wiring harness out anyways...

oh, another trick i figured out. instead of putting the ball in the bed of the truck or inside of the cab, just slide it in from the back side of the trailer hitch reciever under neath the truck pointing towards the cab. then you never have to wory about not having it, rolling around in the bed, or getting rust in the carpet of the truck AND nobody can see it under there. now i just gotta figure out how to get some light onto the situation. im thinking about a billet license plate frame with the light built in but they are fuggin expensive

sounds good just throw some rubber washers in there to keep the vibration (rattling) out. Good deal man!!

    Dont forget about some pics!!
