Has anybody relocated the stock gas tank to the bed? Or does anybody know what all needs to be done to do this? How hard, etc.? I'd like to be able to pump gas just like I do normally.

Hey your on luck, I did an install of one on my 88 gmc sierra.

Pictures are in here http://cossettesolutions.com/truck about the middle of that index of pics. sorry for so many, those are all of my truck thus far.

You'll need a fuel cell, get a metal one, polyethylene you'll regret.

It needs to have a send-in unit unit built into it, for your best bet. 0-90 ohm GM sendin unit built in will plug right in. when you pull your old take, pull off the sender on top and the pump, and you'll be able to decipher what wires to go where. as far as a fuel pump, you can get an inline pump from holley.

the plumbing was the worst for me. my 88 had all rusted lines so i replaced everything from the Throttle Body all the way through the filter, pump, and into the tank.

The lines are the shady part. Your going to have to do some good research on how much AN line your going to use, and when your going to hook up your AN line with your standard line (ah the name of the original line escapes me). not sure on your style truck, but i needed a feed and a return. good luck, if you have any questions at all E-mail me at bcossette@adelphia.net or This Iz Brandon on AOL IM.
