well im still deciding what to do about my trans. just when i think ive decided i talk to some one else. i talked to a guy named Zippy, he posts on performance trucks. net and he built the 4l60 for the blown silverado ss that chevy high perf magazine built, it made over 200 passes with out problems. zippy will rebuild my tranny with raybestos hd bands, clutches , 5 pinion front /rear planetaries, zippy shift kit, shift billet servos, valve body mods, sonnex boost valve and other parts for 1150 for the parts and 400$ labor, im going to go with a vilgilante 2600 stall . what do you think? hes in michigan about 6 hours from me. but i think it will be worth the drive. i was going to get a flp level 5 but i dont have the time or space right now to change trans myself and would rather let a pro do it. thanks -tim

I&#39;ve been posting over there for about 8 months. Zippy is highly respected.

That is not a bad price for tranny work. I say go for it man. Sounds like he has a good rep. To top it off you dont have to get all dirty. LOL

thanks for the help. any time you spend money its nice to reasearch a little and get others thoughts before you buy, i think im going to get it started, you guys are prob tired of reading my trans ?s LOL&#33; thanks for the opinions.
