does anyone have any sound clips of this cam? I am about to do a swap and I can't choose between the comp 212/218 522/529 114lsa or the ls1 Hotcam. I am kinda leaning to the com because i use this as a daily driver and don't need all of the issues of the Hotcam from what other people have told me. TIA. P.J.

If your leaning toward the comp cam why not go LS6, i did this cam in my Z71 daily driver and it pulls great all the way through the powerband. I have better idle than I did before and no low end torque problems. It also has more lift and duration than that comp cam, but its a 117.5lsa.

the 216/220 is a better choice IMO higher lift a bit longer duration and alot bigger power gain. Go off the deep end and get a stall you will be extremely happy with the power gain.

Yeah Allen steered me away from the hotcam when I mentioned it. I have read in several places the driveability is crap with the hotcam.
