Well, this weekend i go over to joe's and I get my a/c all hooked up, then i vaccum it down and joe gets some oil in there.
So, when i first started the ac stuff, i knew little about it, as things progressed I learned more, just like anything else, well when i took the truck to the ac line shop, I had my compressor installed so that they could route the lines, they made the hoses and i left.
going back to joes: then joe hooked up his gauges and they were reading wrong, his low pressure side maxed out and stuck there,
The stupid ac line shop routed my damn hoses backwards, the high side is on the low side and vice versa. Them being in business for years and doing hundreds of cars, you would think they could get my ac lines correct. I had no idea, i just left it up to them, never questioning it. Look where that got me,
Anyway, i'm going over there and i'm going to pop my hood and ask them if they see any wrong, (it's all still hooked up and charge) then i'm going to go off on them.
I'm going to demand they replace my hoses, give me 3 cans of freon, and replace joes gauge. If not, i want all my money back, a guage and they can go screw themselves, plus everyone i come across will know what dumbasses they are.
Is that out of line? wtf, an ac shop not knowing how to hook up lines!!! That's like me putting a damn muffler on the intake!!![]()
Joes also took it for granted they knew what they were doing. I mean come on!! and ac shop doing it wrong, that's been in business for ever?
Joe did show me there was a D and an S on the back of the compressor for discharge and suction, neither one of us never checking it, i guess we just assume an ac shop would get it right.
anyway, i'll get new hoese monday and then my ac will be done, damn this has been a hard ass project to get done!!
ok enuff of the venting,
allen
