Finally got a 14 bolt sf out of a 97 truck. The doner truck was actually a 1500 as well. This was good at first but after I started needing parts it became a pain. Because no one had the 14 bolt as an option on their computers I had to keep going to the dealer with the VIN. So anyways it has taken a long time but it bolted up just fine. It was the U-joint and then the brakes that were a pain. There are some brake parts you just cannot get! We had to make some of our own parts. Unfortunately when I bought the rear end we only had brakes on one side. Which I thought was fine because I planned on rebuilding them anyways. But then there were a few parts that were tought to get and some we couldnt get at all. We eventually figured it out and its all set now. I am going to paint it tomorrow or the next day and paint the drums as well.

I had 4.10s and an eaton posi installed in it as well. Should have went with 4.56 tho
